Although the Nisqually River Watershed is blessed with a significant amount of good salmon habitat there are still some areas in need of restoration. Much of the streams where salmon habitat could be restored flow through privately owned lands.
The Nisqually Tribe and the Nisqually River Council recognized that true long-lasting restoration and protection of salmon habitat will come about only through a community based effort. |
